Finca La Carrodilla
Finca's owners, Fernando Perez Castro and his family run another nearby winery as well, called "La Lomita", the first such winery in the Valle to utilize biodynamic and organic farming practices, used in the production of wines in that area. The rooftop garden at La Carrodilla (Which means Virgen of the vineyards) is an amazing place to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the awesome views! The winery prides itself on single varietal wines, they are mostly proud of their Tempranillo, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% of the wines are estate grown, the respect for the earth is evident also in the fact that they grow on the property a near 13,000 square foot organic vegetable garden from which they also supply local restaurants, as well as their own restaurant "TrasLomita".
